How do I make GP Appointments via my digital television?
If you do not have an EMIS Access registration, ask at reception for a registration form, which provides the information you need to register to use the EMIS ACCESS service.
Once you have received your Practice ID, Access ID and password you are ready to use the GP Appointments service. When you get home use the details below to access the looking local service. Select the GP appointment option and then select New User. You will need to enter the details given to you by your surgery including your NHS number. Once you have completed this process you will be ready to use the service. Select view/book and appointment and re-enter the details you have.
The services can be accessed using Virgin Media (including NTL:Telewest), SKY or mobile phone.
GP Appointments on Sky:
Press the Interactive button on your remote
Select SKY Active from the menu
Select Interactive Services
Select Local Services
Select Looking Local
Now navigate to your area or use the "Search for Your Area" facility.

Select Looking Local
Now navigate to your area or use the "Search for Your Area" facility.
