Julia Oldham, the Executive Manager, is responsible for the overall strategic organisation and general business and financial management of the practice. She leads on information technology and ensure the Practice is in the forefront of the latest developments. She acts on behalf of the partners in all non-clinical aspects of the practice.

Wendy Douglas and Sonia Taylor share responsibility for  the day-to-day supervision,  organisation and operation of the Reception Department and its staff.

Reception Team

Our team of 11 receptionists are often the first people you have contact with at the surgery.  Theirs are the voices at the end of the phone when you make an appointment or an enquiry; the faces you see when you book-in for your appointment or pick up your prescription. Their duties are multi-skilled and varied, and are essential to the effective operation of a busy general practice. They are trained to help you with the queries or questions you might have about the practice and its services. There are occasions when they may need to ask you for personal information. Please do not be offended by this, they are following necessary procedures and all information is treated in the strictest confidence at all times.

The Health Visiting team provides professional advice, support and education on health related issues for all the family, but particularly for parents and carers of babies and young children, performing developmental assessments. The team works closely with General Practitioners and other health professionals as members of the Primary Health Care Team.
