Extended Opening Hours
The results of our 2007 patient survey showed that of 393 responses received to the question “How do you rate the hours that your practice is open?” 303 patients felt the opening hours were good to excellent.
In answer to the question “What additional hours would you like the practice to open?” 106 patients wanted additional evenings, 162 wanted weekends, and 140 said none, they were satisfied.
In planning extended opening hours for Priorslegh Medical Centre we have taken account of what you, our patients have requested , and have produced a plan that we believe responds to your wishes, whilst also taking into consideration the work/life balance of the doctors and reception staff.
To comply with Government and Local directives the additional appointments will be strictly routine, book in advance, and will be open only to registered patients.
Patients requiring urgent advice or treatment before 8.00 am or after 6.30 pm each day, and at weekends should continue to call the Out of Hours Service on 01625 502999
Extended hours appointments may be booked in the usual way - by telephone on 01625 872299, in person at the Reception Desk, or on line at www.priorslegh.co.uk
The uptake and patient satisfaction rating with the extended opening hours will be monitored and reviewed after six months to ensure we are meeting the needs of our patients.

If you have an URGENT problem that cannot safely wait until core opening hours call the Out of Hours Service on 01625 502999. Urgent problems cannot be accommodated in the extended hours surgeries
